About

Bob Jorgensen has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for nearly 30 years.  He’s only DM’d a handful of times, but is an expert at getting reluctant role-players to come out of their shells.  One of the best things he’s done with D&D is host a game group for teens for a few months at his wife’s middle school.  Those kids are still friends today, sharing adventures.

"Pilates has worked for me."

Fun Fact:  Bob bears the distinction of having been in the very first Magic: The Gathering team event at Origins back in 1996.  The only professional M:TG team from Nebraska at the time, they took on the aptly named West Coast Legends, and lost 4-1.

A journalist by day, Bob also acts as the Public Relations contact for the site.  You can reach him at Bob@generationd20.com

Nick Kumpula believes DM’ing is about storytelling, not just trying to kill the party members.  His underground lair is filled with tiles and figurines, although he admits only about 1/3 of them are really ever used.  Nick is an accomplished graphic designer and has written and produced hundreds of television and radio commercials.

Recently, Nick hooked up with members of the wildly popular fantasy web-series Spellfury designing the image used for their promotional posters and t-shirts.

Fun Fact:  Nick’s been a DM for 15 years, but has only dressed up in Wizard’s Robes once.

JMatz is the only member of the staff who actively plays Magic when not recording content for the site…although his skill level might lead you to believe otherwise. He has ridden the nerdy coattails of his older brother George for most of his life, through Star Wars, comic books, video games, anime, MTG, L5R, and many other stops along the way.

Fun Fact: JMatz’s first love is music, owning over 2000 albums in his CD library.
