MTG Campaign — Map

Heres my attempt at a map of Innistrad. There are several fan-made maps I’ve found on the Internet, and one of my favorites came from THIS blog. I used the basic layout of provinces for my own version.

I was originally going to get a ton more detailed, but I scaled back in the end. I wanted to have a few possibilities for starting towns, and a couple options for adventure locations. I didn’t want to have to sweat the minutia too much (haha…a bold departure from my usual MO) so purposefully left out things like river names and specific site locations.

Thats not to say that there won’t be “isolated chapels or hinterland harbors” I just made this map as more of a “What the starting characters know” kind of map…as opposed to complete record. I saved all those mountains and hills etc as custom brushes in photoshop, so it was actually more FUN than work. If I were to make a “complete” map, I think I’d take waaaay more time on drawing the rivers. (I think you can tell I drew them freehand). Anyway, heres a lo-rez copy!

Better late than never… just wanted to chime in. Map looks solid great. However, I wonder if this series will be able to retain the interest of fickle magic minds rapidly turning towards RTR?
