Here is the fourth night of playing with v1 of the D&D Next playtest rules. (First night is HERE Session 2 is HERE and HERE is Session 3, and HERE is Session 4)
A quick run down of the people in our group again:
- Bob - Alec Raithe, Human Rogue – Swashbuckler Theme
- Greg - Valyse Terrywind, Half Elf Fighter – Explorer Theme
- Katie - Jaina Daleborn, Human Cleric – Witch/Commoner Theme
- Richard - “Hobnail”, Dwarf Fighter – Gladiator Theme
- Joren - Arioch, Elf Wizard – Explorer Theme
I had a ton of fun and I wish we could keep playing. For what its worth, we’ve halfheartedly looked at the most recent playtest material. Its gone back in the direction we were pretty much afraid it would. It personally felt a bit like the “feedback” we gave was just lip service on their part.
