Been mostly making revisions and page layouts to the “Campaign Packet” and I got a crazy idea. At this point, this is really just a line being tossed out there to gauge interest. LOL please don’t hold me to anything just yet. I haven’t even talked to the guys yet.
I spent some time this last weekend creating a huge amount of tokens for Maptools out of Innistrad card art from the WOTC site. Ha…no reason why, I swear
What kind of interest do you think there might be in coordinating an RPG on Maptools, using Skype and involving some of YOU guys (the readers)? I have NO idea if it is even possible, especially with multiple schedules to juggle (and the tough time we’ve had lately just getting Traveller time!).
I’m mostly asking because for the next couple months I have scheduling stuff that is going to take me out of our normal Wed. night open slot for website recording…SO I’m brainstorming for ways to keep something going.
Anyway, email me if you’d like to see a copy of the booklet so far. I know there still are lots of little mistakes, but I’m a terrible “word-editor” so I don’t mind if you let me know if you find any. I’m also open to any other ideas of what I might add to the book. Maybe a brief listing of the spells…and their more “MTG” re-names?
The Dragon Age system will just work so awesome for Innistrad I think…Mages use mana, magic isnt separated into arcane/divine, very dark and gothic setting with an incredibly powerful (maybe much too powerful?) church lead by a ‘questionable’ and charismatic demagogue, and the Combat and Spell stunts are so much like ‘activated abilities’ that it should be a blast.
I don’t know if I ever laid out the reasons WHY I choose Dragon Age…but there are a few.

Interesting idea, I’ve wanted to try a web based RPG of some kind for a while, but my schedule these days is super limited. I haven’t even had time to draft since the AVR release events! If something gets off the ground I would certainly try and make time for it though.
