Cathar Comparison

Here’s a quick whirl at what I might do for the Selfless Cathar for comparison in the discussion HERE.

Maybe something more dramatic like “The Cathar can take 2d6 penetrating damage to give all allies +1 To Hit/+1 Armor Rating”…etc

Maybe use the system more and add something like “The Cathar can take 2d6 penetrating damage and until the end of the encounter, all allies can use the ‘Retributive Strike’ Stunt for 2SP… +1d6 extra damage and gain that much health”

The Players Guide mentions that:

A –2 is quite poor while a 4 is outstanding; a 1 is average. The higher the ability, the better.

So maybe a Cathar is all average stats…but abilities focuses that set him apart from a normal towns-person. I think everyone is right though, there will have to be some damage fudging in some cases…in the case of crabs, maybe they are mostly set pieces.
