Markov Warlord was the clear pick over Gavony Ironwright. That would have been the perfect finisher for this deck.
plus that is would have sent a better signal that red was taken
I find r/w really fun to play, but it involves being risky and very aggressive which generally leads to worse late games.
I’ve been noticing a trend: that you do better on light draft beer vs. draft beer. Do you drink during the light episodes (or drink less)?
Another possibility could be that there is only 2 people making decisions (vs. 3), meaning a less diluted deck.
I pointed out their better record on Light Draft Beer when I was there but put it more bluntly. Frankly I think it’s because Bob isn’t there.
Bob has little impact on the quality of the drafts: He is either ignored in the drafting process / not paying attention / not familiar with the set enough to voice an opinion.
Frankly i think that they should listen to him more often, since it results in cool episodes like the divine reckoning deck.
