SPACE PENIS!!!
George is completely wrong about what a merchant marine is, but this was excellent to listen to while manipulating spread sheets. Well done gents.
I’m not sure what I said but my guess is that I conflated the Star Marines with the Merchant Marines.
Its probably for the best…there would have been a ridiculous amount of seamen…jokes.
You conflated merchant marines with mercenaries .
For the record: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/merchant+marine?show=0&t=1317859669
I see that in the long role-playing tradition of time taken during character generation greatly exceeding the time playing with said characters you seem to be starting a different campaign.
Nick is running Fallout and I’m running Traveler… so yeah… sort of.
I looked up Merchant Marines on my own after you pointed it out, so now I know….
and knowing is half the battle!
GI JOE!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the Anagathic rules wrong by the way. You still have to make the roll but you have a bonus to your roll equal to the number of terms you’ve taken the drugs.
With the way Bob was rolling I doubt anything would have changed.
lol I knew it! Bob was space cheating…thats ok, Phil Remington, drifter 1st-class (just barely) has a juiced up pistol and a death-wish.
Which book are you using for this? The game sounds neat.
George(not George), go back and check the beginning of the post, click on the picture of the book, and you can read about it on amazon.com. (full disclosure…if you buy it through that link…we get a cut. EVERYONE WINS!!!)
hurray! I didn’t realize that was a link.
It wasn’t before… we warped time space to fix our oversight.
I vote for VIDEO!
My thought is to record the next rpg sessions with video and have an mp3 recorder going as well for some easy backup audio files you can download.
I’ve listened to quite a few podcasts with ‘actual play’ sessions, but I think we could do something really fun with video…I may have to rebuild my multi-cam PVC monstrosity. 4 angles of angry-bob ftw!
Although, I do like the optional download. So people can listen to this at the gym and feel good about themselves no matter how much weight they’re lifting.
I agree with the video, would be sweet to see peoples fails during the session.
Thoroughly enjoyed this btw. Never thought of people recording there RPG session for public consumption, really cool idea.
