Let’s face it, when you draft as often as we do, the game can get pretty predictable. Many of you draft more than a few times a week I’m sure so you know what I’m talking about. So in order to break up the monotony we decided to do something a little nuts with this episode. You might slap your forehead when you watch this, but you will want to see it. There some interesting lessons to be learned here. Enjoy!

The Draft
Round the First: Where our Heroes Make a Huge F*#king Mistake

Guys that was huge fail but was SO entertaining to watch…
It was refreshing to see you trying something random and new. Sure you could always just take the so called “best picks” and build/play the cookie cutter deck from the packs you open but where is the fun it that unless you are playing a tournament or something.
Keep on doing draft beer because I love watching it
- Tom
Thanks for watching Tom. Ultimately, Magic is a game and I really had a blast losing that draft. I think it is pretty common knowledge that blue/white flyers is the safe deck dujour in M11 draft…I was just hoping that Serra Ascendant / Goldenglow Moth deck was an unknown powerhouse.
One would almost think you guys were already hammered going into the draft. Goldenglow moths… Now I’ve seen everything! Seriously though, how cool would it have been had the Serra Ascendent survived and gotten pumped up? One other question, Am I the only one who thought it was crazy you didn’t at least throw 1 Ajani’s Mantra in the deck? I know it’s not a great card normally, but the synergy with multiple Pridemates is fantastic.
Wait, we had an Ajani’s Mantra?
Well I can totally explain why we didn’t include one….
Huh.
Wait.
…We had a Serra Ascendant?
